Insurance Coverage For the Summer Fun In Your Life!

This weekend is Memorial Day Weekend, which means summer is officially here! Now that school is out and warmer weather is here, it's time to start thinking about your summer plans. No matter what you and your family decide to do for fun this summer, Insure the Lake can make sure you and your family are insured for the increased risks that come with outdoor activities. Take a look at the many ways the best insurance company at the Lake of the Ozarks has you covered!

Spending the Day Out on the Water

One of the best ways to spend a beautiful summer day at the Lake of the Ozarks is to spend it out on the water. Whether you're fishing, water skiing or tubing, or just cruising the Lake and making memories with family and friends, one thing is certain - everyone will be smiling and having a great time! Make sure you have boat insurance for your watercraft to ensure that if an unfortunate incident does happen this summer, you'll be covered and quickly be able to get your boat back out on the water.

Cruising the Scenic Routes

The Lake of the Ozarks is full of beautiful scenery and the many winding roads. Its no wonder that people love taking in the sights while riding motorcycles throughout the Lake area. When you're on the open road, just you and your motorcycle, life’s possibilities are just about limitless! Protect your adventurous spirit and your bike with motorcycle insurance. Enjoy the freedom of the open road knowing that Insure the Lake has got your back!

Hosting Summertime Parties

Summertime means it's time for backyard barbeques, pool parties, and outdoor entertainment. While having friends and family over for a get-together is fun, be aware that hosting guests comes with great responsibility. In the event that something happens during one of your weekend events, you may be liable for injuries that take place on your property or even caused to a third party by an intoxicated person who leaves your home. Homeowners insurance is the best way to protect yourself against being sued for accidental injuries to a guest.

Hitting the Road for Vacation

If you've got a big family vacation planned for this summer, the last thing you want to deal with is breaking down on the side of the road or an auto accident. But things happen. At Insure the Lake we can help you choose a policy that covers new or better vehicle replacement in the event of total loss. We can also provide additional coverage such as rental car reimbursement to get you back on track to your destination.

No matter what your summer plans are, the best insurance company at the Lake of the Ozarks has you covered! So before you take off in your boat, bike, or vehicle and before hosting that big summer bash, make sure to contact Insure the Lake to review your insurance policies at the Lake of the Ozarks. What Kind of Benefits Are You Providing to Your Employees?

Let's face it, the demand for extraordinary compensation packages is a driving factor for drawing employee interest when it comes to expanding business. The compensation packages a business offers to employees affects the company’s recruitment rate, retention rate and employee satisfaction. Retaining productive employees is critical to running a successful business. To do so, you've got to be able to to provide them with the compensation they need to keep working for you. What's one form of compensation most employees desire? Health benefits. Insure the Lake takes a deeper look into what you should be doing to enhance your business's employee benefits at the Lake of the Ozarks:

How Important is Offering Employee Benefits?

In recent studies, 69% of employees reported that they might choose one job over another if it offered better benefits. 60% of employees are likely to take a job with lower pay but better benefits. 42% of employees say improving their benefits package is one thing their employers could do to keep them in their jobs; the second most mentioned after increasing salary. 59% of employees say that health and wellness benefits are important for increasing loyalty to their employer. When choosing between a job that offers higher pay or a job that offers lower pay but better benefits, most respondents stated that better benefits and flexible hours would likely lead them to accepting the lower paying offer.

Most Desirable Employee Benefits

Offering employee benefits is a key factor in retaining happy and productive employees. However, knowing what benefits they most desire is as equally important. Recent studies have shown that the most desired employee benefits are ones that offer better health, dental and vision insurance. These benefit considerations even surpass the desire for higher pay, flexible work scheduling, vacation time, and the option to work from home. So even though it may not seem that important compared to other aspects of the business, business owners really need to take a look at what they have to offer in terms of employee benefits at the Lake of the Ozarks

Employee Benefits Insure The Lake Can Help With

  • Dental Coverage: Insure the Lake can help you offer dental insurance coverage that is both affordable and desirable for you and your employees. We’ll even work with you to establish a payroll deduction option to make coverage even more convenient.
  • Health Insurance: Naught-Naught Agency can help you manage and analyze your existing medical benefits and future needs. Our experienced and trained agents will perform a comparative analysis of your existing coverage to see if any adjustments can be made to better fit your company’s needs. We provide personal service and a variety of benefit packages to help you make choices for employee coverage that are both effective and cost-effective.
  • Life Insurance: We can help you with life insurance options that will expand your fringe benefit insurance program, while providing employees the opportunity to purchase life insurance at a group rate.
  • Long-term Care Coverage: In today’s world the ability to work and earn an income may be the most valuable economic asset an individual possesses. A total disability due to illness or injury could deplete – if not devastate – your employees’ personal assets. Disability can further impact health costs if there is a need for physical therapy or special equipment. A disability income insurance policy can help minimize the impact of such a devastating occurrence. We offer two types of disability insurance: Long term care insurance and short term care insurance.

If you own a business and want to improve your employee satisfaction and retention rate, it's time to start considering the compensation package you're offering to your employees. For help in building a great employee benefit package that will keep your employees happy, contact the best insurance agency at the Lake of the Ozarks. Insure the Lake can help you come up with an employee benefits package to suit your business and your employee's needs. Call us TODAY!

Think You're Safe From Cyber Attacks? Think Again.

Many businesses do not understand the scope of what a cyber insurance policy at the Lake of the Ozarks can provide in the event of a network security failure. They think that things like cyber-attacks won't affect their business. Unfortunately, data breaches and other cyber-crimes are becoming very common. Roughly 55% of data breaches are experienced by small businesses, and nearly 53% of small businesses have suffered multiple breaches! A robust cyber insurance policy at the Lake of the Ozarks can help businesses handle matters more effectively when a data breach or network security failure does occur.
No Cyber Coverage Can Mean Big Monetary Loss

Data breaches and network security failures happen. In fact, IBM reports more than 91 million security events per year. According to a recent study done by Kaspersky Lab, small and medium sized businesses stand to lose an estimated $38,000 in direct losses to recover from a cyber-attack, and roughly $8,000 in indirect expenses to prevent such incidents from happening again in the future. In their studies, they found that nearly 90% of businesses admitted to security incidents. Of that group, 46% claimed to have experience some type of data loss. The leading cyber threat experienced by businesses? Malware.

Your Credibility Can Take a Hit

The monetary loss doesn't even begin to hit on another detrimental factor a cyber-attack can mean to your business - client loss. Once your business has been targeted and suffers a cyber-crime, your client's personal information has been compromised. This means that not only is your business's finances at risk, but so is your client's. This can be extremely detrimental to a business's reputation. Once it becomes known to current clients that you've experienced a cyber-attack and their personal information has been compromised, you run a high risk of losing those clients. You run an even bigger risk of losing opportunities to building future relationships with outside consumers you haven't worked with yet.
Here's the Bottom Line

If you don't have cyber coverage for your business, you're risking yourself to great loss and an even harder recovery. Cyber Liability Insurance at the Lake of the Ozarks helps businesses survive data breaches by paying for recovery expenses. Speak to your agent today about the ever-growing importance of having this additional coverage on your business policy. If you don't have a local agent to speak to, contact Insure the Lake, the best insurance agency at the Lake of the Ozarks, and we'll be happy to discuss Cyber Liability Insurance with you to protect your business from security breaches and cyber-crimes!
